Kris Weimer serves as Executive Director of Startup Moxie Elkhart County, where she oversees student recruitment, mentor and guest speaker engagement, curriculum development, lesson planning, daily programming, and fundraising operations.

Born and raised in Elkhart County, Kris brings 28 years of educational leadership experience from Vanderburgh and Elkhart Counties. After launching her career in Evansville, she returned to Elkhart with her husband and two children, dedicating her career to supporting students as both an educator and administrator. Most recently, she served as a building principal for Elkhart Community Schools. She holds a B.S. in Education from Ball State University, an M.Ed. from Indiana Wesleyan University, and an administrative degree from Indiana Wesleyan University.

As the parent of a Startup Moxie alumnus, Kris has witnessed firsthand the transformative impact of the program. She is deeply committed to cultivating the next generation of entrepreneurs through Startup Moxie’s mission.
